The site is located within the Activity Centre Zone and part of the Ringwood Metropolitan Activity Centre Master Plan. In this zone significant change is anticipated with a building up to 15 stories possible. Due to the size and prominence of the site, its significance to Council and the proximity to Maroondah Highway, several authorities placed requirements during the development approval that were ultimately solved through interrogation and adaptation of the architectural design. The resulting design has embraced the constraints and presents as a well-integrated addition to the Ringwood precinct.
