Constructed on a steep site overlooking the city and distant ranges this residence addressed the clients requirements of a multi-generational residence for an extended family plus visitors during Chinese new year. Constructed predominantly of concrete the house utilises cantilevered balconies and eaves to create large external spaces adjacent living areas where the site drops away below.

Careful presentation to the street reduces the building mass with only the eaves tracing back to hint at the depth of building beyond.
